Build is the project phase — we design and develop your platform. Run is the operations phase — we host, monitor, and maintain it after launch. Most clients start with a Build engagement and transition to a Run subscription when the platform goes live. You can also start with Run if you already have a platform that needs managed operations.
No. If you already have a platform (built by another team or in-house), you can subscribe to any Run tier directly. We will onboard your infrastructure and start managing it. If you need modifications, we can scope those as a separate Build engagement.
When your Build engagement finishes and the platform goes live, you pick a Run tier. The first month of Run is free as a transition benefit. We handle the handoff: infrastructure documentation, monitoring setup, runbook creation, and compliance baseline if applicable.
Per-seat pricing punishes you for hiring and clutters every invoice with seat audits. We charge for the tier and the work — add as many teammates as you want.
Included: every line item on the cards above. Quoted separately: third-party auditor fees (paid directly to your auditor at our negotiated rate, no markup), cloud infrastructure costs (your AWS/Azure/GCP bill), pen-test fees for PCI DSS, and any framework-specific tools. We surface every pass-through at scoping — no surprise line items.
Up or down, any month. Upgrades prorate immediately. Downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle. If you cancel, you keep all evidence, policies, code, and cloud accounts.
No. Everything is month-to-month by default. We offer a 10% discount for annual prepay if you want to lock in a rate, but there is no auto-renew clause and no cancellation penalty.
